Canadian Super Visa is for parents and grandparents of Canadian citizens and residents that allows them multi-entry visa valid up to ten years. It allows the applicant to stay in Canada for up to two years on each entry. The applicant or the sponsor (grandchild/child) that are inviting them must fulfill certain requirements. This visa is exclusively for parents and grandparents; it does not include any dependent children.

The applying applicant must be the parent or grandparent of a citizen or permanent resident of Canada. He/she must be allowed to enter Canada and fulfill certain requirements. The sponsor is required to give evidence of meeting the minimum income threshold for the total number of family members. The family members include the one sponsoring, his/her spouse, people depending on him/her, any other person who is being sponsored and the applicant(s) themselves. A written statement of financial support is required during the applicant stay. Medical insurance of $100,000 is required for at least a year.

The applicant must fill out the required application forms and provide all the supporting documents. The documents include identification, photographs, passports, CNIC and other detailed information listed in application. The Super Visa fees can be paid either online through credit card or paid in designated banks. Along with that, biometric finger prints of the applicant are required for Pakistan which can be given in any local visa application center. There maybe an interview with the visa officer at Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Consulate nearby. The applicant has to go through a medical examination test before acceptance of the application. The examination is held by medical practitioners approved for Canadian Medical Immigration Examination in Pakistan. Canadian immigration officer sends in the details of examination.
